The Bruntland Commission's definition of sustainable development dates back to 1987. In plainer terms, we can ask the question: "How can the human race continue economic development without harming human health and the environment?"

At Veolia Environnement, sustainable development is a major influence on our business decisions and defines us as a company and the services we offer.
