Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies was awarded a contract for the design, build, commissioning and testing of a 1.2 ML/day (upgradeable to 1.8 ML/day) water treatment plant plant.
The plant reuses treated effluent from the nearby Mannering Park sewage treatment plant. The permeate product is used in the power stations demineralisation plant, which produces water for use in the power stations boilers.
The plant is split across 2 locations - the microfiltration plant is located at Mannering Park Sewage Treatment Plant, and the reverse osmosis plant is located at Vales Point Power Station.
The Microfiltration filtrate is pumped from Mannering Park Sewage Treatment Plant to Vales Point Power Station via a 2 km pipeline, installed by Veolia Water Network Services.
We also provide site service, support & maintenance with supply of Hydrex® Specialty Water Chemicals.
