Pluto Effluent Treatment & Demineralisation Plants, WA

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies was awarded the contract for the design and supply of both the Effluent Treatment Package & the Demineralisation plant for the Pluto Onshore LNG Plant.

Veolia provided an integrated process turnkey package, leveraging its worldwide expertise by combining technologies from different VWS Oil & Gas companies around the world, including MPP Systems and Rossmark.

The Effluent Treatment Plant will recover produced water, treat oil contaminated water to remove hydrocarbons and treat recovered water onshore for reuse on site.

The demin plant will remove suspended solids and dissolved solids from reuse water for use as gas turbine washing and make up water to the heated water system, the acid gas removal unit and the closed loop cooling water system.
