Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies was awarded the contract for the supply & commissioning of an Actiflo® Clarification packaged plant for Gore District Council Water Treatment Plant Upgrade.
The Actiflo® plant will remove phosphorous from municipal wastewater before being discharged in to a nearby river.
The wastewater is treated in an oxidation pond system before being discharged into a fishing river and required that the Council remove the phosphorous from the discharged water especially during low river flows when the river is most vulnerable.
