Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies was awarded the contract for the Design & Supply of an Effluent Polishing Plant at the existing Goro Nickel Processing plant.
The plant incorporates the Actidisk® process, a very efficient and compact process which combines the VWS Actiflo® Clarification process followed by the Hydrotech® Discfilters.
The Effluent Polishing Plant removes suspended solids from the acidic wastewater neutralisation plant and the conventional clarifiers and will provide high quality treated water suitable for discharge in to the sea.
