Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies was responsible for the design, supply, install, test and commissioning of 4 water filtration plants using membrane filtration at:
- Comboyne (680 m3/day)
- Long Flat (350 m3/day)
- Telegraph Point (1,300 m3/day)
- Wauchope (6,000 m3/day, with the capacity to increase up to 18,000 m3/day)
Also implemented was a Water reclamation plant at Port Macquarie (1,000 m3/day, with an extension capacity up to 2,000 m3/day) using reverse osmosis.
All the water plants are designed to produce high quality drinking water and the backwash water is used for agricultural and playing field's irrigation.
