Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies was awarded a contract from Downer Engineering Power for the design, supply, construction and commissioning of a new Condensate Polishing Plant for the Huntly Power Station owned by Genesis Energy.
The plant includes a TRIPOL® condensate polishing system with 3 regenerator vessels, in order to remove impurities from the condensed steam which comes from the power plant steam turbine.
This very efficient system provides an external regeneration system to avoid condensate contamination with regenerant chemicals.
