Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies was awarded the contract for the Design & Construction, as well as the Operations and Maintenance requirements for the upgrade of the Bayswater water treatment plants.
The water treatment plants minimise the environmental impacts by recycling & treating cooling water and ensure no contaminants reach local waterways.
The process reduces the level of salt discharged into Lake Liddell, which provides partial make-up for the power station when blended with Hunter River water.
